Central bank not to drop plans to return inflation to 4% by 2023

MOSCOW, Nov 30 (PRIME) -- The central bank has not abandoned plans to push inflation down to near 4% by the end of 2022, Chairwoman Elvira Nabiullina said on Tuesday at forum Russia Calling.

"We plan to carry out the policies that will allow us to return inflation to 4%. We expect that it will happen by the end of next year," Nabiullina said.

The statistics agency estimated inflation at 8.05% on November 22. In October, it peaked at 8.13%.
